How to Turn Off/On the Forced Windows Updates Service in Windows 10

Microsoft is a Well Known brand in the Fields of Operating System.Half of the World is using Windows from Microsoft as their Operating System as they feel, Convenient and very Simple to use it.With the Advancement in their Features Microsoft has always thought of New Idea’s for the People to make their Product more User Friendly.Microsoft Updates their Product(Windows) almost every Year.Since From using Windows XP to Windows 10 almost a Decade has been there and Microsoft has made a Great Advancement in this Field and has Time to Time made their Products more User Friendly.

Since when we were using Windows XP, Updating the Product was in our Hand and we can Manually Download and Install Updates or can Turn On or Off, the Windows Updates.It was All in our Hand.But Since when Windows  10 has been Launched it Windows Update are Automatically Downloaded and Installed without our Wish or Not.It has a very Annoying Feature in Windows 10.

But Don’t worry KernelBit Team has found a way to Turn On/Off the Windows Updates.And Now Windows Updates are in our Hand,its our Wish to Download and Install the Windows Updates.


Follow the Below Steps to Turn Off the Windows Update ::


1)Type ” cmd ” in the Search Box and then Right Click on it’s Icon and Select Run as Administrator Option or you can Simply Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter on Command Prompt(CMD) Icon to Directly Run it as Administrator.



2)Type ” net stop wuauserv ” Command in the Command Prompt Window.
This Command is used to Stop the Windows Update Service.



3)Now Type ” net stop bits ” Command in the Command Prompt Window.
This Command is used to Stop the Background Intelligent Transfer Service.


4)Now Type ” net stop dosvc ” Command in the Command Prompt Window.
This Command is used to Stop the Delivery Optimization Service.



5)Now Type ” exit ” Command to Exit the Command Prompt Window.

6)You have Successfully Stopped the Windows Updates Service. 


Follow the Below Steps to Turn On the Windows Update ::
